Background: NOD

 

Features:

  • PrkdcSCID mutation introduced to NOD(Non-Obese Diabetic) background mice
  • Lack of mature T and B lymphocytes
  • Decreased NK activity
  • Decreased complement activity
  • Impaired functions of macrophages and dendritic cells

 

Applications:

  • Allografts and xenografts, for example, evaluation of the proliferation, metastasis and invasion ability of tumor cells, and the efficacy of anti-cancer therapy
